Range Foundations Workshop
A concentrated two-day introduction to reading and trading inside sideways markets.
Intended audience
Traders with six months or more of chart experience who want a structured first exposure to range-specific tactics before committing to a longer coaching program. Suitable for part-time traders who can dedicate one weekend.
Day one — Reading the range
- Morning: defining consolidation versus trend pause using swing structure
- Afternoon: marking boundaries with confluence — prior highs, volume nodes, and session opens
- Evening homework: identify three active ranges on your watchlist
Day two — Acting at the edges
- Morning: false breakout patterns and how to distinguish them from genuine breaks
- Afternoon: stop placement when volatility compresses; position sizing inside narrow ranges
- Closing exercise: group markup session on a live chart with instructor commentary
